The Sunshine Coast Junior Hockey Training Centre is a building addition to the existing Gibsons Arena, fronting Park Road. The Town of Gibsons would only issue a building permit once the civil servicing, on-site stormwater management, and Park Road frontage works were fully designed and sealed.

We provided civil engineering for the building permit, with scope covering on-site grading, site servicing, on-site Stormwater Management Plan with calculations, Erosion and Sediment Control plan, Park Road frontage plan-and-profile, cross-sections, and BCBC Letters of Assurance. Coordination with BC Hydro, Telus, and Fortis ran alongside.

The civil package was issued with sealed BCBC Letters of Assurance to support the building permit application, with construction now underway. The training centre is being delivered for community use through Keck Architecture & Design as project architect.
