The shared parking area between the Gibsons Curling Club and the Gibsons Swimming Pool required several upgrades within a single project, including replacement & regrading of existing & degraded asphalt, accessibility grading at both building entrances, establishment of additional parking & access between the buildings, upgraded stormwater infrastructure within the parking & access areas, and a dedicated communal garbage disposal area. The Town of Gibsons wanted a near-construction ready drawing package & detailed budget estimate for future project planning with the ability for swift implementation when funding is available.

We provided civil engineering for the upgrade package, structured in four submission stages to allow for linear and clear project delivery to the Town of Gibsons. Submissions were presented at 35% (Concept), 65% (Preliminary), 95% (Detailed), & Issued for pricing.

The delivery model allowed for commentary to be provided at distinct stages to efficiently deliver the project while incorporating client requests. The package delivered detailed schematics at a near construction level so when funds become available, swift implementation can occur.
